Science Trust Organizing Two-day Program In Remembrance Of Founder B. Premanand

The Science Trust was formed three years back on the advice and wishes of the veteran rationalist Mr. B Premanand. It was he who proposed to us the name ‘Science’. Our main objective is to develop scientific temper, humanism, spirit of enquiry and reforms in the society.

As you might be aware, Mr. Premanand passed away on the 5th of October last and, as per his will, his body was donated to Coimbatore Medical College the next day. With his sad demise we lost a friend and adviser who helped us in promoting our objectives.

The Science Trust is organizing a two-day program in remembrance of its founder Mr. Premanand, which will be held on the 9th and 10th of January 2010 at Calicut, his birth place. Eminent personalities like Dr. P.M. Bhargava , Mr. Babu Gogneni (IHEU), Dr. Vijayam of Atheist Centre, Dr. Narendra Nayak, Sri Kumaresan etc. etc. have agreed to attend the function.

premanandAs a means of paying tribute to Mr. Premanand’s commendable method of promoting scientific outlook it is also proposed to organize a ‘ WORKSHOP EXPOSING 100 MIRACLES ‘, which will be held on the 9th of January, from 3 pm to 9 pm, with the participation of his students from various parts of the world. Dr. Narendra Nayak has agreed to moderate this six-hour program. We cordially invite all the students of Premanand to participate in the function and make it a grand success. Also, we eagerly wish and request them to help us by passing on this massage to all their friends.

  2. He is simple but great thinker. He makes us to think and laugh. Once I asked,”What about spirituality? which is used now used instead of religion?”. Pramanandji told, “Spirituality is derived from the word ’spirit’. When one person drinks more ’spirit’ be becomes ’spiritual’ and talks about spirituality”. The miracle set he gifted me when I acted in BBC video, helped me to give more than 100 “miracle exposing” program. I respect him by educating more and more people towards the fight again superstitions. I wish all the success for your program.
